Meet Nick.
Your Neighbor.
Your Tree Guy.
I'm Nick Vander Kley — owner, operator, and the guy who shows up when you call. I started working in the tree industry in 2012, formally trained by Pacific Power on utility line work, and went all-in on tree service full-time in 2018.
V-Kley's Tree Service is a family business rooted right here in Reedsport. When I show up at your property, you're getting someone who actually cares about doing the job right — not just someone hired off a truck. I take pride in my equipment, my crew, and leaving your yard cleaner than I found it.
I'm experienced in all types of tree work — trimming for aesthetics and views, clearances for buildings and homes, removal of small or large trees, hazardous situations, and post-storm service. I can climb, I can fall trees, and with our 60-foot boom truck, we can reach what others can't.
Give me a call. I look forward to working with you.

Professional Equipment
Nick takes pride in maintaining top-quality equipment. The right gear means safer work, faster completion, and better results for your property.
60-Foot Aerial Boom Truck
Our signature piece of equipment. The 60-foot boom gives us aerial access that most tree companies in the region simply cannot match. Perfect for large trees, commercial properties, and jobs where ground access is limited.
Commercial Wood Chipper
Our heavy-duty wood chipper handles rounds up to 10 inches in diameter. We chip on-site, turning your tree debris into clean wood chips — hauled away or left for your garden if you prefer.
Excavator
For larger land clearing projects, deep stump removal, or site preparation work, our excavator handles what chainsaws and boom trucks cannot. A versatile machine for complex terrain.
Climbing Gear & Hand Tools
Sometimes the best tool is a skilled climber. Nick and his crew are experienced tree climbers, able to safely access and work in trees where machinery cannot reach.
